HATCH WORKSHOP MENTOR BIOS
Stephen Michael
SROLIVE is the brain child of Stephen Michael. He has more than 25 years as a live event music producer, having the rare opportunity to work with many of the top touring and recording artists of the 1970s, 80s and 90s. Some of these included Ray Charles, Stephen Stills, Norton Buffalo and Bette Midler. Together, with his grammy-award winning partner Larry Cumings they established their chops as part of the sound crew at the Concord Pavilion, in Concord California. This was the home of the Concord Jazz festival which quickly grew into one of the first world-renowned amphitheaters. This was the launching pad that connected Stephen and Larry to up-and-coming young players, such as Vince Gill, David Grisman, Harry Chapin, and Luther Vandross. In the decades to follow, the list of artists they would go on to work with became a living history of some of the most innovative and progressive rock, pop and folk performers of our time.
Doc Wiley
Grammy Award Winning Engineer – Chief engineer, mix engineer, studio designer, studio manager at Latinum Music (Willy Chirino), Chief engineer at Sonic Nerve, and Diginote music.
